Founded in 2006, Kachin Golf Association of America declares as its foundation the observance of the Rules of Golf and Amateur Status as laid down by the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA) and the United States Golf Association (USGA).

The Association concerns itself solely with matters of Kachin Golfers. It's a non-profit organization run by Kachin golfers for the benefit of Kachin golfers and development of Kachins as a whole. The Association does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, politics or gender.

The Kachin Golf Association of America (KGA) will take all necessary actions to ensure that no individual or group will be discriminated against in their pursuit of inclusion into the game of golf or its administration for any personal characteristic other than those necessary for the proper performance of the work involved or the membership applied for. Above all, KGA of America is an independent organization.
